Programs

What we do

Future Forward Foundation Australia runs three programs today. Each one is delivered by trained volunteers and offered at no cost to the people we serve.

Flagship program

Business Consulting & Advisory

Free, structured consulting engagements delivered by trained volunteer teams under experienced oversight. This is a not for profit consulting service: practical, confidential advice for real business decisions.

Who it's for

Small business owners and entrepreneurs from underserved backgrounds who cannot readily access professional advisory services.

What to expect

A typical engagement runs over several weeks. A small volunteer team scopes the problem with you, does the analysis, and hands over clear, usable recommendations alongside the working documents behind them.

Information & referral

Financial Access Information

We research microfinance and community finance products offered by third party partner institutions, and share that information with eligible clients so they can make informed decisions. Where appropriate, we can introduce clients to partner institutions.

Who it's for

Eligible small business owners exploring finance options for their business.

What to expect

Future Forward Foundation Australia does not provide loans, credit, or personal financial advice, and does not hold an Australian Credit Licence or an Australian Financial Services Licence. We help connect eligible business owners with information about microfinance options; any decision, and any product, sits with the client and the institution.

Member program

Talent Development

A structured volunteer pathway for university students and early career professionals who want to break into consulting and finance. Members are trained, then deliver our client programs in supervised teams.

Who it's for

University students and early career professionals. Curiosity, reliability and coachability matter more to us than GPA or a technical background.

What to expect

Members join a team, complete training, and work on live client engagements with support from experienced leads. Many use the experience as a stepping stone into consulting and finance careers.

Client intake

How client intake works

We keep the process simple and honest:

  1. 1

    Referral or application

Clients reach us through community partners or apply directly through this site.

  2. 2

    Eligibility check

We confirm the business fits who we exist to serve, prioritising underserved backgrounds.

  3. 3

    Scoping consultation

A short conversation to agree what support would actually help, and whether we can deliver it well.

  4. 4

    Delivery

A volunteer team works with you over the engagement period.

  5. 5

    Closeout and feedback

We hand over recommendations and materials, and ask for feedback so the program keeps improving.
